What the best things to wear to ski?

I'm going skiing for the first time and I look hot. Tell me what I need (what brands, etc) for use by please ... I'm from Texas, soo clueless in this department.

First, looking hot really does not matter. What matters is having a good time and be comfortable. Definitely take some lessons and will definitely be smart about what you wear. First things first. Never use cotton. Cotton absorbs water and then lost 70% of its insulating qualities once wet. This is bad. You should buy a good set of long underwear, made of a poly-pro or wool or silk. The same is true with socks. The wool is impressive in a sock and not fall into the mistake of taking the thicker sock or the use of multiple pairs. A pair of socks of medium thickness should do the trick. The use of two pairs of socks will increase the volume of your foot and you can cut blood flow a little that will make you cold. Now that is out of the way, if you are cold you should look at the heavy coats worn over long underwear. I like fleece. They breathe well and not to water transport soak up and keep it cool. Next thing you think are your gloves. I suggest getting the best pair you can afford. There is nothing worse than cold, wet fingers watching you are a beginner who may use their hands in the snow a lot. Now for outerwear. There are really good brands out there so I could not recommend one. Go to sound shop and ask someone to help you. Ski Babe was right in that wind is important, but as something very water resistant beginner will be more important (also remember this is a generally waterproof jacket windproof, while a windproof jacket is usually not waterproof). You need a good hat. You out much of your body heat through your head so you need to be sure to keep the scheduled above. I PERSONNALY as helmets are not only warmer dry hat ever use but kept the ball in a bad fall. Regardless of whether you go with a hat is very important. I have never ever seen a tourist center where You can rent glasses. Snowing you definitely need to buy a pair. If sunny, then you need sunglasses. Winter sun can get very bright out in snow therefore must protect your eyes all the time. Speaking of winter sun, do not forget the sunscreen even in winter. There is nothing worse than trying to look good in the heat bath after a day of skiing with her face peeling off. Enjoy
